What is HRV?

What is Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV)?

Heat recovery ventilation systems maintain indoor air quality without the need for inefficient wall vents. A balanced system extracts the foul, humid air from kitchens, bathrooms and toilets and the same quantity of preheated fresh air is supplied to bedrooms & living rooms

How does the system work?

The Heat recovery unit comprises of a heat exchanger and constant flow fans. The fans extract the foul air and push it through the heat exchanger. As the air passes through the exchanger , 95% of the heat is transferred to the fresh cool air being brought in from outside. This produces warm fresh air which can be distributed to the rooms of the house through a ducting system.
