Description: In order to limit the amount of penetrations through the airtight membrane, the ceiling was counter battened to allow for the wiring. Prior to slabbing, these battens were filled with 25mm high density fibreglass.
The HRV system was installed in the attic, as the ducting was above the insulation, we lagged each run separately. This prevents condensation in the system & maintains the efficiency of the exchanger.
